I am a vascular and interventional neurologist, a “human plumber” specializing in the treatment of blood vessels in the neck and brain by profession, and an artist by passion. I am drawn to the joy of observing and interpreting the world.

For years, I felt confined by the separate identities of Physician and Artist, but both medicine and art are powerful acts of witnessing. I celebrate their intersection through interviews featuring creative medical professionals in the ArtRx: Prescribe More Art project while also charting my own artistic growth.

This is the community I longed for in training, a space where creativity is celebrated and where others might find permission to nurture their own artistic voices.
